Agreement to terms

These terms govern your use of the Corriente Digital website and any apps or platforms we build and operate, including Converse. By using our site or services, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or the app.

Our services

Corriente Digital LLC is a digital agency offering web design and development, AI automation, SaaS products, and related digital marketing services. Specific engagements are governed by the separate proposal or contract agreed with each client, which takes precedence over these general terms for that engagement.

Signing in with Google

Corriente Apps and Converse let you authenticate using Sign in with Google instead of a password. Your use of that sign-in method is also subject to Google's own Terms of Service, available at policies.google.com/terms. We use it only to identify you and create your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Converse

Converse is a self-serve WhatsApp inbox, open to any business: you sign up, connect your own WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) through the Meta Cloud API, and use Converse to manage that account's customer conversations instead of building against the raw Cloud API yourself. Corriente Digital acts as a WhatsApp Tech Provider with Meta to make this connection possible — we are not a party to your relationship with your own customers, and we don't message anyone on your behalf except at your direction through the app. By connecting a number, you confirm you're authorized to do so on that business's behalf, and you agree to:

• Comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Solution Terms, and Platform Terms, available at whatsapp.com/legal/business-policy, in addition to these terms.
• Only message contacts who have opted in to receive messages from your business, and honor opt-outs.
• Keep the access granted to your connected number accurate and secure, and disconnect it if it's no longer authorized.
• Not use Converse to connect a WABA you're not authorized to manage, or to message contacts on behalf of a business other than your own.

Meta bills usage of the WhatsApp Business Platform (such as conversation-based pricing) directly to your own Meta Business Manager, not to Corriente Digital. You're responsible for adding a valid payment method to your Meta Business Manager and for paying Meta directly for all charges billed against your connected WABA; Converse does not collect, process, or have visibility into that payment method, and any billing dispute over those charges is between you and Meta. If Meta suspends or restricts your number for non-payment, that's outside our control.

Converse relies on the WhatsApp Business Platform to send and deliver messages, which Meta operates and can suspend, rate-limit, or revoke independently of us; we're not responsible for message delivery failures caused by Meta's platform. You own the conversation data your organization collects through Converse; we store and process it as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access to Converse for an account that violates Meta's policies or these terms, or whose connected number Meta itself suspends or restricts, and we'll make reasonable efforts to tell you why.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our website or services to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or apps.

Intellectual property

The Corriente Digital name, logo, and website content are our property unless stated otherwise. Deliverables built for a specific client under a signed agreement are governed by the ownership terms of that agreement.

No warranty

Our website and general content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Formal service warranties, if any, are set out in the relevant client agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Corriente Digital LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
